Recent census data from the BLS shows that there are over 4,000 licensed OTs and OTAs in Michigan. Also, the field is expected to grow 33% through 2020. All OTA licensing in Michigan is regulated by the Michigan Board of Occupational Therapists. Below are the requirements to become a licensed OTA in Michigan.
